One of the reasons why India is a great country to travel to is because of the people who live there. The people of India have a rich culture that cannot be ignored. For instance, "Indians have a strong sense of family that is unmatched anywhere in the world" (Venkatraman). As a result, the people of India are very welcoming, and hospitality is something they have no problem in providing. The people of India find no trouble in having generations of families live together under one roof which contributes to their welcoming lifestyle. In addition, the people of India have a tremendous love towards celebration. There are hundreds of festivals or celebrations that are celebrated in India alone. It is without a doubt that Diwali and Holi are the major holidays celebrated in India, but each festival is celebrated with equal importance. Indians take pride in their culture, and they won't treat any festival like a grain of salt (Venkatraman). Last but not least, the people of India are deeply spiritual. "People have been coming from far and wide to India for centuries seeking spiritual wisdom, and they never go back disappointed" (Venkatraman). The wisdom that Indians have to offer is a beautiful part of their culture, and something that is definitely not ignored.
what makes india beautiful
There are many aspects to India that make it a beautiful country. One being the colorful clothing that is worn by citizens everyday. "Indian clothing is renowned throughout the world, for its hand woven textiles, ethnic wears, rich embroidered fabrics, authentic drapes in exclusive designs" (Phartiyal). Through India's colorful clothing a magnificent culture is depicted which makes India a beautiful country. This Indian clothing includes saris and Ghaghra Cholies. Bollywood is also a big part of India that makes it a beautiful country. Bollywood is India's movie capital which is a nickname for the film industry located in Bombay. This film industry consists of the most famous actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, and Hrithik Roshan. Films are produced in many different languages, and people all over the country look forward to all film releases (Phartiyal). Bollywood movies bring people together in India, so the movies add onto the beautiful culture of India. Lastly, the jewelry in India is a big part of what makes the country so beautiful. "Indian jewelry is as old as Indian civilization itself. Jewelry in ancient times was not only an adornment, but each stone was endowed with a mystical quality and used as a protection against evil forces" (Phartiyal). Jewelry is something a lot of people invest in because it is apart of the culture, and it is very beautiful. Jewelry is even considered auspicious, so many Indian women wear it every day. Especially gold. The beautiful jewelry worn everyday is apart of what makes India an amazing country.
Challenges india must face
India faces many economic challenges. One of them is population growth. India has an intense growing population that made India rank second in total population. "[India's] population is growing 20% per decade, leading to problems that include food deficits, sanitation deterioration and pollution" (Vita). This greatly affects the living conditions of India which leads to malnutrition. Malnutrition causes childhood stunting and anemia in women of reproductive age, and overweight adult women (Vita). In addition, sanitation is another major issue that Indians must endure. The issue is so big that "21% of India's poor has access to toilets versus 62% of the non-poor" (Vita). Most people facing these issues are living in rural areas or slums (Vita). At the moment these are the big issues that India faces, and it takes a country to work together to be able to solve these issues.
